"College is the best four years of your life" - DjEveryb0dy (Larose, 2015)

- We hear this a lot, that university is the four years that will build the rest of your life, determine who you become, and what you do, and who you will do it with. This might be true, and it definitely is for us. But our university experience is not the same as everyone else's. We know that this 'quad' is only a stepping stone to more important Olympic 'quads'. We have the dual responsibility to grow as a human, as a student, and eventually as a productive member of society AND grow as a sailor, an athlete, and a competitor. Needless to say, our days are endless grinds of hard work, topped off with a little more hard work.

My weekly routine goes a lot like this: gym, sailing, eat, sleep, think about homework, gym, go to work, library followed by "sailing is more fun that work right?", eat, eat, sleep. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining: hard work makes the world go 'round. (And yes Mom, I do also do my homework. Got that degree coming in real hot.)

Anyway, both of us are LOVING the life of a full-time athlete, full-time student, and full-time eater. We are sailing with our college sailing team (shoutout to Queen's and Concordia for having sailing teams: woot!) We love sailing with other people, as much as we love sailing with eachother. Look at the boats that aren't ours: YAY for varying our training!
